Well, the day has come and gone. 11-12-13

What’s the big deal, you ask?

11-12-13; aside from being an awesomely awesome date, it was also the imaginary and illusive date that I had given myself to have the sequel to Trusted out. Well, if you have checked my blog lately (crickets) or my social media pages (still quiet, but not quite crickets) you will know that I obviously missed that date.

And while I didn’t quite self-destruct, I still spent the majority of the day moping and doing some extensive retail therapy.

So, I’m over it now. The day has come and gone. I’m about 5 chapters away as I write this from having Destined FINISHED. Urm, the first draft anyway. 😉 But still, at this rate, it should be out by Christmas and will still meet the Fall 2013 deadline that was promised in the back of Trusted. (Note to self, never make those kinds of promises until you fully understand the challenges of homeschooling as well as the extensiveness of your teaching courseload for the semester)

In case anyone was wondering, I haven’t neglected my blog altogether (though, I’m fairly sure it seems that way. My last post was a lowly Sunday Seven and that was several months ago) and hope to get back at it soon. Life has definitely been crazier and more challenging than I ever thought it would be, but I’m making it. 😉

And..I suppose now is as a good a time as ever to announce that I am also making my children’s picture book debut! I’m hoping to have it out by Christmas, but I’m not putting any strenuous deadlines on myself. (My credit card and my husband cannot handle any more retail therapy) Without further adieu, I give you Gnome on the Roam! I have written and am illustrating it myself. I’m very excited!

There you have it! I’m still alive, still writing, just super busy! Hope all is well for all of you!

Best wishes and be sure to check back soon for updates on the release of Destined: Book Two in The Trusted Series. I have some really cool things up my sleeve, so check back regularly! 🙂

Until next time. . .
